Terms of Service — Uyu

Agreement

Uyu (“the app”) is made by Orkun Aybek, a sole proprietorship (şahıs şirketi) registered in Türkiye (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using Uyu, you agree to these terms. If you got Uyu from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

What Uyu is

Uyu is a sleep-sounds app: mix ambient sounds (rain, ocean, white noise, and others), save your own combinations, and use a sleep timer to fade the sound out automatically. Uyu also plays tones it generates itself, such as binaural beats. It is a one-time paid download: there’s no subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases and no account. The App Store handles the payment, including refunds, under Apple’s own terms.

Your use of the app

You may use Uyu for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app’s source code or audio assets beyond what normal use of the app allows
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the app’s normal operation

Content and licensing

The sounds, artwork, and other content included in Uyu are either created for the app or licensed for use within it — the Credits screen in the app’s Settings lists every recording and its license. You don’t get any rights to that content beyond using it within the app itself.

No warranty

Uyu is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular medical or health purpose — Uyu is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice for insomnia, sleep disorders, or any other condition. If you have ongoing sleep problems, please talk to a healthcare provider.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update the app or these terms over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You can stop using Uyu at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any of its features at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Nothing in them takes away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
